The Hitch adapter is used to reduce the size of the hitch receiver tube from 2 1/2” to 2”. It is designed to solve the problem for Class V pickup truck hitch receivers that need to fit Class III/IV towing ball mounts, bike racks, and cargo carriers. With its unique lip design, it securely locates your sleeve into the 2.5” tube without slipping inside. It has a universal 5/8 inch hole opening for a Class V hitch pin kit or lock (not included) and provides up to approximately 3 inches of clearance from the pin hole center to the sleeve flange end. The adapter is constructed with heavy-duty steel and has a towing capacity limited to the hitch. It is black powder coated for corrosion resistance. A 5/8" hitch pin and clip are included.
