Non-Stripping: The band of our hose clamp is thick and non-perforated. Most typical small hose clamps are thin and perforated which's easy to deform and strip the perforations if the screw clamp is over-torqued. The buckle bottom is welded into one-piece housing for higher tensile strength. These heavy duty hose clamps can provide superior clamping force for solid & safe seal!
Hose Protection: As our 4th picture, the rolled-up band is to prevent metal edge cutting into the soft hoses(silicone, pvc or rubber). This is a safe design to eliminate hose damage when final torquing, especially for fuel line gas line, heater and automotive projects.
Non-Perforated Solid Band: Our non-perforated band is virtually impervious to over-tightening, deformed and stripping. The thicker metal is less vulnerable to stress cracking, so the life of metal clamps can last longer. The embossed band also protects the soft hoses from shearing or extruding ("cheese-grater" makes you hard to remove the tubing clamps out of hoses).
Non-Metric Sizes: Compared with other metric size adjustable clamps, our hose clips are engraved clear inch size on band for easy and fast identification when using. The slotted screw hex head is 5/16".
Hose Clamps Stainless Steel: The housing, screw and band of our metal hose clamps are all made of high quality 304 SS. The neutral salt spray(NSS) test is 100 hours. These worm drive hose clamps are compatible with SAE J 1508 standards.
Note: The screw is made of real 304 stainless steel as well. The screw surface is zinc plated to prevent micro welding when clamp is tightened and heat is generated. 304 SS can be magnetic due to cold working when manufacturing. We guarantee all 304 SS.
